O que é mais fofo do que um cachorro sentado em seus pés? Não muito! Essa é uma das perguntas mais comuns que me fazem. Parece que não importa o quanto você tente, os cães sentam em seus pés. E para aquelas pessoas que amam cães e querem saber por que eles se sentam em nossos pés com tanta frequência, aqui estão os motivos:

Eles se sentam aos seus pés e querem estar o mais perto possível. Os cães sentam-se ao seu lado no sofá, sentam-se aos seus pés enquanto cozinham o jantar, sentam-se debaixo de uma mesa durante o horário de trabalho, sentam-se do lado de fora quando você sai de casa… eles só querem estar com você. Quando eles têm ansiedade de separação, pode se tornar muito estressante tanto para o cão quanto para o dono, porque os cães não entendem que seus donos voltarão. A ansiedade de separação é bastante comum em filhotes, mas também pode se desenvolver na idade adulta se um filhote não aprender que ficar separado de seus familiares é normal e seguro. Se houver uma mudança significativa na rotina ou no ambiente, isso pode desencadear esse comportamento – como mudar de casa ou ter novas pessoas por perto com frequência (novo bebê, novo colega de quarto).
